Been a long time coming…I brought the domain name about early 2005 and four years later it’s finally done. Thanks Nick for hosting and advice!
This site is centred around our trails in Lady Grove Wood; the woods first introduction to 20″ was in 2002 when some small sets were built but soon abandoned by a few Chelmsford locals. We arrived two years later, rebuilt the existing sets and the trails continue to evolve from then. We are lucky to have the support of the super cool farmer as long as we don’t encroach any further into his woods and keep the woods ship shape. Mostly then it’s gonna be pictures of the trails, locals and other interesting crap. Probably some opinion spouting and almost certainly childish bickering…enjoy.
2012 Update; site revamp and a near miss as far as losing the trails goes; a TPO brought the woods to the attention of the County Council and we have had to submit a formal planning application for permission to use the woods. This means that we have to be far more careful about the use of the trails, as the woods are private and you can ride only with our permission so please do get in touch before visiting. Planning is pending still at present due to the location of the gates to our parking area but we have taken over management of the woods and coppicing is underway…
