lock down

the trails have been running on and off for a couple of three weeks, its too damp to ride most of the lines; only a few sets really but enough to attract unwanted attention. cased landings, rutted flat bottoms, blown lips and litter. good motivation to finally lock ‘em up though, so with a gennie, 4 5 foot scaff poles, 40 foot of welded chain, a welder, an angle grinder and a bloody great hammer we did. had a well earned ride after wards. all riding pics by peg leg scott who managed to stick his axle through his leg at writtle…yep, I said writtle…karma?

unlocking the chains and pulling them through the poles is very satisfiying, as is turning up and finding all our nice fresh jumps all nice and fresh still!
