40D

Got a new camera body, a 40D…a big step up from my 350D; gonna take a bit of time getting accoustomed to. Harry finally got rid of his huge 26″ but chalked up three punctures in as many runs…

Super dry still, last weeks rain was a let down; the water pits are all dried up and we are having to use the five gallon containers to ship it in.

No riding for me this weekend as I have had some weird reaction to something or other (Poison Ivy?), at LG and my palms are swollen and I can’t grip anything. Good excuse for some weak pics too!

dust

First off a bit of lake jumping and a short edit from Scott

Back to LG and it’s too hot, too dry, too much dust, too much shrinkage, too salty…weather is looking good for the next couple of days, fingers crossed it buckets down. Little session on Sunday, good to see some old faces (take your rubbish home next time though!) and better to see some earth being moved and maintenance laid down before riding, even if it was under duress! Jack and Paul kicked ass in the effort stakes as usual, they had put in two hours before anyone else arrived…mucho appreciated as always. Takes alot to keep the trails running, especially in this weather a one time dig dosen’t count.

Relatively calm session with the exception of Paul bailing and high speed re-modelling his down tube with a big tree..anyway a few (slightly hot), pics of Jack, Gav and Paul taken from the brambles on the wrong side of the fence.

the tales of trails pt3

Been way too hot for anything other than soaking up the sun...then came Saturday; spent most of the time behind the lens or just taking a nice long sit down with food in one hand and a beer in the other...this resulted in not going home and a lot of stumbling around...to see ...

its not bmx

A non-mexican update; I went to the MotoGP at Silvestone...bloody hot and insane 200mph bikes!! Fences at Silverstone amke it a nightmare to take decent pics so excuse the quality. Some more undercover reporting from the Norwhich contingent; Lotus open day...how many GP cars? 'nuff computer time I'm off ...

need rain…got rain

Spent the week retesting new sets, seems to make the rest of the line easier but still loads to be done down there... Chelmsford skatepark; wow they wasted so much money on more slippery paint, how much did it cost to turn a crap driveway 180 degrees? Was it worth ...

tidy!!!

Bank Holiday weekend away to Bodham camping was a nice break from the norm. A ride from Norwich to Bodham (single speed), in the rain was a brilliant. Night time camping in the wind was made easier by some rum and scrumpy good times had by all...and a ...

near dark

Managed to get to the woods late Saturday after spending the day working on other peoples cars...a few shots; including the dirt donkey with bars (well one handed x to bars anyways!), over the G-Hay. Nice to see Back O'the Neck too.
